I remembered about saying I gotta keep going after receiving my first career achievement.
But just merely half a year and I've decided it's enough, I had enough ..

Baby Shayne's progress since birth!

♡ Mumbles and makes alot of noise even when he's asleep!

♡ Drinks 90ml few days after birth, progressing to 100ml and now 120ml every 3 and a half hours.

♡ Able to recognise voices and will turn at the direction when someone calls out to him.

♡ Cannot go hungry even for a min, will throw tantrums if milk not given on time.

♡ Starts to want attention.

♡ Will shout for people when left alone in room.

♡ Likes to be carried.

♡ Very fierce and rough when hungry or uncomfy.

♡ Frowns alot and don't really smile.

♡ Have tried plain water & china barley but he doesn't like barley!

Hello people,
decided to do a short update since Lil Shayne is asleep thou he'll be awake soon for his milk-milk!
Shaynie boy is officially 2 weeks and 1 day old but I felt like I've became 20years older as taking care of him 24/7 is definitely not easy!
My baby wakes up every 3 hours for milk and i've totally insufficient rest!!
All these stress and tiredness is wearing me down but i know it's all worth it seeing him grow up day by day.
Showing me all his funny faces, actions and mumbling nonsense whenever he is asleep!!
Just can't wait for him to grow up soon ^^

Discharged from hospital & back home now ..
But sadly, they said Bb's jaundice level is 13 and MUST stay to be observed even tho I tried talking to the nurse.
They insist he has to be under phototherapy for the whole day and have to see condition tomorrow before he can be discharged.
Money suckers. 
Hopefully Daddy's able to bring my precious home tomorrow.
Miss him so much ..

Today marks my third and last day of hospital stay!
Which means I'm able to bring Shayne shayne back home later provided his jaundice don't shoot up please ..
I think i'm still a lil emotionally unstable or maybe it's a normal thing for post-natal?
I look at Shayne every morning and I'll start to tear because I still can't believe I've carried him and he grew in me from a lil bean to such a huge baby just by feeding on my body nutrients and amniotic fluid.
Still can't believe he came out of my tummy, this feeling is just incredible and amazing!
Still can't believe my promotion from a wife to a mommy ^^
Lil Shayne's been a really good boy.
Always sleeping whenever other babies are crying away and only cries when he's hungry.

Even his daddy is so proud of him cos the first day when Shayne just arrived, he was brought to the nursery ..
And prolly cos he was a lil cold, he started to cry and daddy just pat him a little and he stops crying..
Wherelse the other newborn who was patted by his daddy when he cried still continue crying away ..

So anyway, today is the official start of my motherhood!
Hopefully my precious will be able to go home with me so I can smell him everyday :)

I'm back, people!
And indeed, the brownish discharge was a sign of labour!
I woke up before my alarm was supposed to ring @ 7am-ish with a wanna poo-poo stomach pain which comes and go..
So I went to the toilet, sat for a long time and managed to output a lil.
I didn't know if I was in labour or it was me thinking too much ..
I even went to bath to prepare for work, but the pain was quite different this time round.
Whenever it comes, I had to bend .. I couldn't stand straight!
And so, went to woke Hubby up and we called up my gynae and was told to go TMC for CTG without admission @ 11am.
Had CTG on for prolly 2 hours till my gynae came and painfully checked if I was dilated.
At 1pm, I was 3cm dilated!!
Gynae said hafta wait for about 6 hours..
Horrible pain I had to tolerate all the way till 5pm when Gynae came to break my waterbag.
After breaking, realize there were traces of Baby's meconium in green!
Meaning baby was in distress and so, bad news for me!
We had to go for emergency c-sect, which I never wanted.
Half body anaesthetic and Hubby went in with me.
Within less than an hour, I heard Shayne crying!!
And he was immediately brought to my side.
The feeling was amazing, they wiped him up and I carried him for awhile..
After that the excited Daddy went off with his newborn to do all the measurements.
Baby was 3.955kg at birth & 51cm ^^
Did up my stitches and head back to ward..

Today in the afternoon, noticed brownish discharge on my panty liners!
Got a lil shock, and ran back to outlet and informed my colleagues!
Some were more anxious than me, asking me to go to the hospital some told me to wait.
Called up gynae and nurse told me to go down straight but decided to search the net and found out ..
It's called The Bloody Show.
A sign of labour as the mucus plug falls off ..
But the real labour might be in hours, days or weeks!
So for now, i'm gonna start waiting for the pain!!

Hello people!

Today is the 19th which means in approx. 8 days time, it's gonna be Shayne's birthday!
My Baby giant is currently 3.8KG >,<
Even my gynae says Bb is a lil big and very solid, but he thinks I'll still be able to tackle nvd.
So for now, I'm gonna conserve all my energy and give my last & best shot on the most crucial and final stage of my 10-months pregnancy.
